My father had vascular dementia, not Alzheimer's, and in the evening, when we watched a bit of TV, he'd say over and over that a scene was being replayed in loops—heart-cinching moments.
Radio, music, and some gentle broadcasters were his preferred alternatives.

Don’t hold your breath. I have still to get an MRI and further THREE HOUR memory testing. And they couldn’t schedule that until May.
